Editor of a forthcoming book by Thames & Hudson on Dubai

George has been invited as editor for the book Dubai: Growing through Architecture to be published by Thames & Hudson, the international publisher of fine art and architecture books based in London.

The scope of the publication is to look at Dubai’s architecture and urbanism with focus on its evolution (historical, social, cultural, contemporary) in the form of a documentation, presentation and analysis. It will be the first complete book on Dubai’s growth through architecture. The book will be published both in English and Arabic.

The book, to be published both in English and Arabic, will be divided in four chapters:
Early Buildings (From 2300 BC to 1960s)
The First Wave (1967–1997)
Global City (1997–now)
The Future
